DAY 1 : ARRIVAL AT KIGALI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by our meet and greet lounge host who helps you through a fast-track assistance with VISA and luggage collection. After immigration and luggage collection, you will then be handed over to our driver guide who will transfer you to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2: KIGALI CITY TOUR
Following a relaxed breakfast at 09h00, you will be driven for 20Minutes to Kigali Genocide Memorial to commemorate the 1994 Tutsi Genocide where the remains of over 250,000 people are interred. After lunch at 14h00, you will then indulge yourself in a sightseeing tour around Kigali city including visits to kimironko local market. After your sightseeing tour, you will return to the hotel for a relaxed evening and dinner whilst utilizing the complementary offers at the hotel.

DAY 3 :TRANSFER TO AKAGERA NATIONAL PARK – AFTERNOON BOAT RIDE – NIGHT GAMEDRIVE
Following breakfast, you will depart at 09h00for Akagera national park, the journey to Akagera national park takes about 3 hours depending on the stopovers along the way, with the beautiful unwinding landscape en-route to the park. Upon arrival, you will check in to your lodge and enjoy a hot lunch. After lunch, you will take a 2hours sun-set boat trip on Lake Ihema offering you amazing views of the Hippos and crocodiles in the water or by the shores as you meet the buffaloes and elephants wallowing by the water banks. Later in the evening, at17h00, Park guides will pick you up for a Night Game drive adventure lasting 3 hours in the Northern part of Akagera National Park. You’ll be dropped back at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE
On this charming day at 06h30 after breakfast, your driver guide will lead you to the park reception for an all-day wildlife safari in the park. Your guide will ensure to take you to every corner of the park to give you all the opportunity to site almost all the game in the park. Your driver guide will pick a spot to have a picnic lunch. Following lunch, you will continue with the game drive as you head out of the park through the northern exitand check in at Mantis Epic hotel.

DAY 5: TRANSFER TO VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast at 8h00, you will have a relaxed morning whilst utilizing complementary activities offered by the hotel including the swimming pool. At 10h00, your driver guide will ensure you take the Covid-19 PCR test before embarking on a 5-hour scenic drive to the Volcanoes National Park as you enjoy the beautiful views of the green vegetation. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge followed by an evening at leisure utilizing the hotel amenities.

DAY 6: ULTIMATE GORILLA TREKKING – 9 Days Incredible Wildlife Safari
Your day begins with breakfast at 06h30, then head to the park reception for briefing at 07h00. Thereafter, you will be guided through the Virunga jungle to search for the shy mountain gorillas. You will have 1 hour after meeting the gorilla family. DAY 7: GOLDEN MONKEY TREK –GORILLA GUARDIANS’ VILLAGE – 9 Days Incredible Wildlife Safari
After breakfast at 07h00, you will be transferred to Kinigi park offices. At around 7:30am you will get briefing about Golden Monkeys Trekking code of conduct before heading out to the golden monkey trucking trails. You are granted 1 hour of observation after which, you will head back to lodge for an early lunch. After lunch you will be driven to the Gorilla Guardians’ village to experience Rwanda heritage through key aspects that are close to the Rwandans – the importance of a cow, how to milk a cow, local banana beer making, traditional dance, basket weaving class by the Rwandan women, herbal medicine experience to mention but a few.

DAY 8: PFUNDA TEA TOUR EXPERIENCE – TRANSFER TO GISENYI

En-route, you will make a stopover at Pfunda Tea factory to experience the “crop to cup” tea tour. After this amazing activity, the driver guide will transfer you to Gisenyi. Upon arrival in Gisenyi, you will check in at your hoteland have lunch. After lunch, you will enjoy a 2 hours boat ride on lake Kivu and later a relaxed evening by the beach.
